A personal note from our founder on why VL2K exists.
Dear Business Partners,
All too often, international logistics for small and medium-sized companies means compromise. From my own experience, I know how easily businesses get lost in the anonymous environment of large freight forwarding corporations, or conversely, face unnecessary delays, opaque pricing, and customs complications.
That is why I founded VL2K Forwarding & Consulting.
I combined an international academic education in Shipping Management with years of experience in global trade and transport. My goal was to create a freight forwarding company that offers small and medium-sized importers and exporters top-tier service on par with major forwarding houses, but delivered with the personal care, speed, and flexibility of a family-owned business.
We know that terms like "personal approach" or "transparency" may sound like ordinary phrases and marketing clichés at first glance. However, we are confident that true, honest fulfillment of these fundamentals is precisely what creates the greatest difference between us and global logistics giants.
You deal directly with a specialist who knows your project, understands your commodity, and responds without delay.
You know exactly what you are paying for and at which stage of transport. No hidden fees.
We understand the nuances of global ports and customs procedures. We prepare processes and documentation well in advance so your shipment avoids unnecessary delays.
We provide sea and air freight from any destination, seamlessly connected with onward road logistics across the Czech Republic and the entire EU.
You might wonder why I chose the peregrine falcon as the mascot for VL2K. For me, it represents the ultimate symbol in logistics: extraordinary speed, absolute precision, and the natural ability to effortlessly span vast distances.
Our mission is to ensure that your goods cross borders just as smoothly — giving you complete peace of mind and the freedom to focus on growing your business.
I look forward to meeting you in person and working together in the future.
